“The colors, the music, the movements of the artists really took me to another dimension. They detached me from the daily rhythm of regular life, I really appreciated it,” said Walter Specogna, a senior private banker at Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking.
“It was enchanting, extraordinary. I was so impressed by the precision and attention to detail, really amazing. And so is the live orchestra,” said Monica Meneguzzi, who is an imaging adviser and owner of Armonique.
“It is a very emotional show. It struck me very much with what is conveyed. At first glance, you immediately see the explosion of colors, and you hear the music that gives you so much. But underneath you can feel that there is life and there is a lot of emotion,” said Stefano Bianchin, who is a therapist.
Federica Amodio, who is a fashion designer, said she found peace seeing Shen Yun perform.
“I felt at peace, I was captivated, immersed, in a peaceful atmosphere.”
“It has amazed me again, the depth of the message. You can feel that they are all very rooted in traditions. What it shows is a part of China that we don’t see, that is not conveyed to us,” said Cristina Amirante, the regional head of infrastructure for Infrastructure and Territory.
“The courage they have to convey this message, despite the difficulty for them not being able to enter China is absolutely admirable. From here in the West we don't realize what's going on in China and also the richness of their culture. How many thousands of years there are of culture, and it's great to see it conveyed like this. It's taken around the world,” said Ms. Amodio.
Mr. Bianchin took note of the message he received after seeing Shen Yun’s performance.
“A message of truth, peace, hope, and acceptance.”
“What they manage to convey is this sense of peace of this supreme entity. What is conveyed in these people, is that they manage to bring this serenity,” said Franco Buiatti, who is a manager of International Company ENEL.
For Roberto Corba, a former Colonel with the Italian army, it was the second time seeing a Shen Yun performance, and he said he enjoyed it once again.
“First time I was here with my wife was last year, in 2023. We were fascinated, a really spectacular thing. We knew it was a very nice show to see, so we gladly came back. As always, the show took us to another world, it’s something else. A really, really beautiful thing to see. I recommend Shen Yun because for us who go to the theater, it’s something that’s not easy to see. It's something new that's worth seeing at least once in a lifetime,” he said.
“Congratulations to everyone. It is a show that one remembers and carries in one's heart,” said Mr. Buiatti.
“It's different from what we Westerners are used to and expect from such a show. So good, I received it well. It was a good night, I recommend it,” said Roberta Rubini, who is a lawyer.
“I give them my warmest congratulations and to always continue with this show and to take it forward. And I really wish that they can grow more and more, that there will be more and more companies. More and more people who are passionate and follow them everywhere,” said Ms. Meneguzzi.
