“It was so harmonious, such inner freedom,” said Irina Cicio, a business owner. “I had tears in my eyes. It was beautiful.”
Elisabeth Pfingstner, company founder and president, remarked that Shen Yun was “beautiful, it was beautiful.”
“It was incredibly impressive: the body control, the colors, the forms, the perfection, and the art of tradition brought from the past. I was very impressed.
“I feel very good because the performance is very nice,” said business owner Patrick Ortner. “And it's fascinating because the synchronicity is amazing. The dancers are perfect.
“I liked the performance very much, especially the costumes [and the dance with] the wide sleeves and what you can do with them. The long sleeves are like a waterfall,” said Günther Wagner, who also leads his own company.
Günther Wagner added that the stories in Shen Yun “showed moral courage, kindness, and willingness to help.”
“In a world where values are increasingly being lost, I think it's very important that it's precisely through things like this that values are being kept alive,” Ms. Pfingstner said.
“I recommend [Shen Yun] from the bottom of my heart,” Ms. Cicio said. “Everyone should see it at least once in their life. It's unique and it’s absolutely amazing, and there is so much heart and so much soul in it. And to carry on this tradition and keep it alive, this is unique in the Chinese tradition.
“I am thrilled, almost speechless, by so many beautiful things and beautiful colors,” said Vesna Jovanović-lepavina, a religious education teacher. “My heart is full of joy. I am so happy to have seen this performance.”
