On Jan. 26, Shen Yun Performing Arts graced the stage at Bordeaux’s Arkea Arena with another sold-out performance. The audience was left in awe and emotion by Shen Yun’s artistic splendor and the spiritual message in 5,000 years of Chinese culture.

Dimitri Przewozny, a deputy sales manager, said, “The show was incredible, the dances were incredible! The male dancers as well as the female dancers. The different themes that were addressed were incredible, and it really represents all of China!”

Virginie Thomas, a training center director, said, “I loved the show. It’s very, very beautiful. It’s magical, and I find it very poetic as well. And the orchestra is fabulous. Honestly, the dancers and the scenes are marvelous.”

Emmanuel Camp, a charterer & transport organizer, said, “It was the first time I’d seen a Chinese show, and it was a big first for me, so I’m very delighted about it.”

Mélanie Ferreira Rodrigues, a nurse, said, “I loved the show. Honestly, it was truly incredible to experience this performance. The dancers, the musicians, the orchestra—everything, everything, everything. ... I highly recommend it to everyone!”

Audience members highlighted the positive emotion and energy they felt during the performance.

Ms. Thomas said, “I felt a lot of positive emotions. I was very, very moved, very touched by the scenes. The show really transported both of us. It was so beautiful.”

Mr. Przewozny said, “In fact, you really feel a lot, at the same time lots of energy, lots of calm, and lots of simplicity.”

Mr. Camp said, “It gives me a Zen attitude! I felt very, very calm about the show, and I think it’s something relaxing. Watching shows like this is definitely a positive experience.”

“I felt lots of connection. A sense of well-being, lots of magic, lots of power. It’s marvelous,” Ms. Thomas said. “I was very very moved. Lots of joy, lots of happiness, lots of serenity and authenticity.”

“I felt the authenticity of the artists. They transmit plenty of positive emotions to the audience. There are many interactions which come through them,” she said.

Through art and beauty, Shen Yun has a mission to revive traditional Chinese culture—its spirituality and lost values. Audience members were deeply moved, describing Shen Yun as “compassion towards everyone.”

“It was very serene, very divine, very ... I couldn’t even tell you because I don’t even have the words," Ms. Ferreira Rodrigues said. "It was really magnificent all the way through, from the first intermission to the second. Honestly, congratulations to all the artists and all the musicians too, and all the people working behind the scenes as well.”

“Compassion, love, divinity. Really, above all, a lot of compassion towards everyone," she said. "I think this show was really about that! Compassion towards everyone. That everyone can help everyone else too.”

Mr. Camp said, “We felt kindness throughout, the protection of the weak, good and bad, and I think these are well highlighted there. I think it’s very important because right now, things are very complicated in this world. I think you have to bring kindness to people to be able to get up and move forward.”

Mr. Przewozny said, “I think the show teaches us to do simple things and rediscover a certain connection with ourselves and with the Divinities.”

“In terms of divinity and serenity, each scene truly conveyed immense kindness," Ms. Ferreira Rodrigues said. "As I said at the beginning, I have no words for it because I was truly speechless. It was absolutely magnificent—all the scenes throughout the entire show.”

Ms. Thomas said, “I’m still all excited, and at the same time I have lots of emotions that are still there; it’s still all fresh, with a lot of positive energy, and I want to see the show again.”
