“It is a pleasure to watch Shen Yun,” said Keelung city councilor Hung Sen-Yung. “Today, when I came to the theater, I saw that the fifth and sixth floors were fully occupied. From this we can see that Shen Yun has been widely embraced by the general public.”
“The music is top notch,” said Chen Shui-Tein, who is the president of a biotech company. “First a treat for the ears, and then the treat for the eyes, all at once,” he added.
“I felt a great inspiration of the soul’s power. It was very shocking,” said Chang Chuan chief legal counsel of a company. “I also found the choreography really, really breathtaking, truly amazing, very touching.”
“The show is really enjoyable and very engaging. I think the music, the costumes, the dancers, the dance moves, are truly mesmerizing. So it’s really healing to watch Shen Yun,” said Chou Hsiu-E, wife of Hung Sen-yung.
“Many of Shen Yun’s programs make you want to shed tears,” said Chiang Hsiao-Ling, former newspaper editor-in-chief.
“There is an energy that emanates from the heart of every dancer that resonates with the audience. It has a power that creates a very strong feeling in us,” said Chiu Shih-Yuan, who is a jewelry company president.
“There is the beauty of the divine in the performance, and you feel as if you are closer to God, to the heavens,” said Ms. Chiang.
“I saw the dancers’ smiles and their faces, which are genuinely truthful, benevolent and forbearing,” said Mr. Chang. “It must be their belief in God’s revelation that enables them to have such power. It’s not something that can be done easily, nor can it be trained in a couple of days. It must be done through a lot of hard work and even with God’s help.”
“I think it shows a very good state of unity between Heaven and Humankind, and it is actually a great inspiration to the world because it can bring to people a greater sense of truthfulness, kindness, and beauty,” said Ms. Chiang.
“In a democratic country, it is unimaginable that Communist China could do such terrible things. Not to say organ harvesting, even this excellent art, could not be staged in China, which is inconceivable to all democratic countries,” said Mr. Hung.
“What they do is to promote a concept of benevolence, truthfulness and forbearance, so that people can elevate the spirit of mankind and make our world a better place, so I would like to express my deepest respect to them and really thank them, and I hope that they will continue to work hard and we will continue to support them,” said Mr. Chang.
