“This was my first time seeing Shen Yun. The performance was full of energy, and the performers’ movements were clean and precise. It was definitely worth seeing. It was well worth the trip,” said Hiroyuki Motohashi, a company president. “The performers danced with such beauty and appeal. I believe they must have put in tremendous effort. They made it look effortless and conveyed it in a fresh and natural way. It was truly very professional.”
Yuichi Muramatsu, a deputy executive director, said, “The performers would disappear in an instant, turn into figures in the digital backdrop, and then reappear as real people. The explosion effects and other visuals were executed with great precision. It was truly impressive technology.”
Hiroyuki Muramatsu, a former company executive, said, “The performance was so spectacular. I was truly amazed. The creativity of the performers leaping out from the digital backdrop was remarkable.”
Masashi Hornaka, also former company executive, said, “It was absolutely wonderful. The colors, the dancing, and the music were all so impressive. A performance like this is rarely seen in Japan.”
Mr. Hiroyuki Muramatsu said, “To present content related to the Chinese Communist Party with such courage, I imagine they must have faced many difficulties and challenges. Even so, they continue to refine their skills and express it through dance. That is truly remarkable.”
Mr. Yuichi Muramatsu said, “There are many issues in China today, but Shen Yun demonstrates a spirit of resilience and carries the belief that they want to present the true China.
Shen Yun has been touring the world since 2006, and has since grown to eight different companies. Each performance highlights themes of spirituality and faith, core values found at the heart of traditional Chinese culture.
“I feel you can gain energy from the performance. As people strive through their busy lives, Shen Yun is like a boost to the spirit and a source of renewed strength,” said Mr. Motohashi.
“I strongly believe in the Creator, and the performance resonated with me,” said Mr. Hiroyuki Muramatsu.
“I really hope children can come and see it and experience different cultures,” said Mr. Yuichi Muramatsu.
