Shen Yun Performing Arts delighted audience members at the Paris Congress Centre Theater on April 19, taking them on a journey through 5,000 years of divinely inspired traditional Chinese culture. The audience praised the show’s artistic quality and appreciated Shen Yun’s spiritual message.

“It’s splendid, it’s fantastic. It’s enchanting. The costumes, the music, the dancers. We were truly immersed in the atmosphere of Chinese culture, which spans thousands of years. It’s true that you can’t leave the show without feeling enriched. It’s magnificent, I loved it. We held our breath, and I would love to come back again,” said Igor Gardea, a sales representative.

“I am very sensitive to the spiritual message. I value helping others, bringing happiness to others and taking care of them. That’s what drives me, and I found this philosophy in all your dances. Thank you very much,” said Guillaume Charlaté, a sales manager.

“It’s fantastic. The dancers are professionals, the precision is remarkable, and the colors are beautiful. We were overwhelmed by the diversity of the program, it’s wonderful,” Mr. Gardea said.

“Really top-notch, truly! Thank you so much for all the messages conveyed through the songs and the dances. There is endless hope and love that’s conveyed. I will always be grateful,” Mr. Charlaté said.

“[The show] had me traveling through different eras and different levels. The colors were mesmerizing, and we traveled between Heaven and Earth. It’s truly wonderful,” said Sébastien Haas.

“It truly reflects the art inspired by the Divine. The radiance and majesty are magnificent. It’s truly good, it expresses the Divine. There’s no better way to say it. And the name [Shen Yun] is a great choice for the entire show,” Mr. Gardea said. “In comparison to other contemporary shows, I find Shen Yun very good because it combines culture and tradition, preserving, presenting, and promoting them. I would love to see the Western culture blended with Chinese culture, because Chinese culture has an ancient foundation of thousands of years, which we can feel, and we should integrate it into modern life.”

“The show allows us to reposition ourselves and return to the roots, to the essential things. It’s truly a magical and wonderful moment. Thank you very much,” Mr. Haas said.

Shen Yun draws inspiration from traditional Chinese culture and values, which ancient Chinese people believed to be inspired by the Divine. Mr. Charlaté said he resonated profoundly with the show’s representation of the Creator’s return.

“It’s Easter now, which signifies the resurrection of Jesus, so it couldn’t be more perfect [to see Shen Yun]. We glimpsed the Apocalypse in the show, we saw the Creator returning. That’s what we anticipate, and we believe He will return. I am deeply Christian, and this is a message from the show that resonated with me profoundly. Thank you truly,” he said.

Mr. Gardea said, “I am going home feeling peaceful, joyful, and happy. I want to invite my friends and family to see the show again.”
