Bernhard Czöczock, a former telecom civil servant, said, “The performance was very good. I found the culture that was presented to be excellent. You can really immerse yourself in what life was like in the past.”
“I liked it very, very much. It was beautiful, the dancers were incredible, this symmetry, all these messages that came through—these profound messages, I found wonderful,” Astrid Wunderlich, an osteopath and naturopath, said.
Heike Ludwig, an alternative wellness technology entrepreneur, said, “Very good. It touched my heart and filled me with great joy. The deeper message behind it is fantastic. What the artists accomplish is magnificent. The stage design and the effects are very, very captivating; the dance, the acrobatics, the expressions, the costumes are absolutely wonderful.”
“For all of us, for all people, [the traditional values] are not only for the Chinese people but for our people as well. For all of us, it is important that we take a closer look at these traditions again. I think that is very, very important,” Mrs. Wunderlich said.
“I think this whole story of transformation, bringing all these traditions back to life, and this humility, and bringing people together again, I think that is so important worldwide, and they are able to bring that to the world through their dance and through everything they do. I find it very, very beautiful,” she added.
Mrs. Ludwig said, “The message that human beings are divine beings, and that virtues are valuable. I think that this is a message that, even if you are not yet consciously aware of it, still touches the heart and the soul, and changes people.”
Mrs. Wunderlich said, “This depth, this sense of humility as well—reconnecting to the divine, reconnecting with people with gratitude—I found these things wonderful. It was all conveyed so beautifully, through the dance and everything else. I liked it very much.”
“I believe it can contribute to a certain awakening, because art and music carry messages much more than words alone,” Mrs. Ludwig added.
Mr. Czöczock said, “This culture fascinates me greatly, and I will try to go a little deeper into it as well.”
“Very good, absolutely world-class, I would say,” Mrs. Ludwig said.
Mrs. Wunderlich said, “I would definitely recommend it. I think it’s very beautiful. I would absolutely encourage others to go see it.”
The company’s next stop will be in Toronto, Canada, from June 25–28.
