“Very amazed with the colors, with the message that it brought. The message really came out through the dancing. And it’s really great to see something that well done. The music was on point. It was very great. The orchestra was just flawless. In my opinion, as small as the orchestra is, because it wasn’t a huge orchestra, it brought up a very large sound, very large emotions, a lot of emotions through the music as well,” said Dmitri Vilenski, a music producer.
“It’s so beautiful being in the health industry, just to see the posture and the beauty and the performance and what it takes to be so choreographed with everybody together. I’m loving every minute of it, and I did not know there was a full orchestra right below. And I’m really, really having a great time. It’s beautiful,” said Mary Trumpi, the owner of a physiotherapy center.
Eric Bisaillon, a business development manager, said, “The costumes and the colors are very vibrant, and when they come from the screen, it looks like they’re jumping on stage. That part looked like it was a 3D movie, even though it’s a live performance.”
“It was incredible. Was better than expected, visually [and] beyond, and also because of my profession, I can appreciate the dancers. I was really looking at the movement and just anything was amazing. Also, I like the culture behind everything, and I was very surprised that it’s live music. There was actually an orchestra. Blew my mind. It was incredible,” said Harry Mitterbauer, an exercise physiologist.
“When I saw that it was 20 years, I was so amazed. And I heard they said in the show that there’s eight full touring groups now that go globally. I think that’s amazing that it’s grown so much, and that they’ve continued, because I know how important it is to stick with messages and arts that you’re trying to pursue and put out there,” said Rosy Donovan, an actress.
“I saw lots of messages of compassion, of kindness, of consequences of greed, of not treating people well. So it was very good to see it. Even though they are just dancing, I’m not into Chinese culture, so it’s good to see that in the culture as well, how it was, and obviously communism, how that affected everything, and just very well put together, very well,” said Mr. Vilenski.
Drawing inspiration from China’s rich cultural heritage, each performance also holds themes of spirituality and kindness, values that can be found at the core of traditional Chinese culture.
Ms. Trumpi said, “I was amazed at that gentleman singing like that. It was nice to be able to hear him sing and be able to read on the screen what he was saying. And it was very touching as far as a deep message.”
“Great job. Keep going with it. You’re really going to be changing people’s hearts, and you’re going to be bringing a lot of awareness to people that don’t know the culture,” said Mr. Vilenski.
Ms. Trumpi said, “I would like to thank them very much for their beautiful performance and their choreographed work, and how they are really present in the work and just giving their 100 percent the whole time. I appreciate them.”
