Shen Yun Performing Arts presented a show in Lublin, Poland, on Jan. 18, on a mission to revive 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture from before communism. Audience members were touched by the artists and the stories presented on stage.

Ewa Panek-Chmielewska, a business owner, said, “Beautiful, a lot of movement, beautiful costumes, everything performed flawlessly. Gorgeous.”

Norbert Karmowski, a lawyer, said, “The music is excellent. The synchronization is very good. Both the music and the performances, the dance performance is at the highest level.”

“The costumes, the music, everything, the performance, and I was amazed by the flexibility of all those performers who appeared on that stage. I admire them,” said Dorota Polewiak, a restaurant manager.

“Very nice content, also references to God, to creation, so the whole content is very interesting. The dance, the music, everything made a huge impression on me,” said Agnieszka Glabicka, a company manager.

Based in New York, Shen Yun has been touring the world since 2006, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. The company has performed in front of millions of people across 200 cities in 20 countries.

“A very nice show, quite interesting. You could see the whole culture, but also really wonderful, all those dances, the sense of rhythm, and in general the choreography for this performance,” said Anna Michalowska, a company manager.

“Such sensitivity, they draw attention to goodness, that good always triumphs over evil,” said Ms. Panek-Chmielewska.

“The value is enormous, because Chinese culture carries with it many, many years of history and is somewhat different from European culture, so it’s worth getting to know it,” said Ms. Glabicka.

Ms. Polewiak said, “I would like to say that these are truly talented people. You can see that they give all of themselves in this art, they convey this warmth, everything, you can just see it in this performance.”

Shen Yun has now concluded its 2026 European tour and will return with a brand new production next year.
