“We have been to China, and we've seen a lot of shows in China but this one has them beaten hands down, and the orchestra, the whole show is fantastic. It's wonderful,” said Llandudno Mayor Michael Pearce.
His wife, Llandudno Mayoress Lindsay Pearce, described Shen Yun as “absolutely wonderful.”
“We were here last year, and I think it’s even better than last year. It’s magical, that’s probably one of the best words I can say. It’s absolutely magical,” she said.
“It’s got a magical quality that even defies description sometimes when you see the movement, the energy, the just the very vibrancy of the show,” said the mayoress.
Shen Yun portrays ancient legends and modern tales from China’s 5,000-year history—a culture said to be deeply spiritual and inspired by the divine.
“They obviously all work very well together,” said the mayor. “So, there's something that binds them together, and perhaps that's being spiritual.”
