Susana Perez Escalona, a professor of law, said, “The truth is that it’s wonderful, it has exquisite taste. The dancers and all the choreography are exceptional, it’s simply exquisite and wonderful.”
David Rodriguez Rodrigo, a singer, said, “Wonderful, the opera pieces, as well as the one she was performing, I liked them very much because they’re delightful.”
Octavio Lacueva, a business owner, said, “Their agility in dance is a spectacle. You can tell they’ve put in many hours of training to achieve these movements.”
Luis Calvo Aldea, a former doctor, said, “Seeing the screen with certain images and the characters appearing on stage. I’m really enjoying it a lot.”
Ms. Escalona said, “I believe this show inspires us to appreciate beauty, to appreciate traditions, and what traditional culture can offer us.”
Heriberto Vidal Rey, a former veterinarian, said, “The message is that of returning to and reviving traditions, reclaiming beliefs, showing absolute respect for all that exists, and, at least to some extent, rejecting those periods marked by atheism and similar trends. I thought it was very fitting.”
Inge Erne, a former business owner, said, “The world we live in, in the end, is very harsh and very tough, and that it should do better. That’s part of the message too: that we can do better if we want to. You could see that throughout the whole performance. The message was very beautiful.”
Shen Yun tours the world with eight companies performing simultaneously. Each season, it presents an entirely new program featuring original dance, music, costumes, and backdrops.

“I would watch it again right now. The two hours flew by, almost with a pang of regret that it was over, a pang of regret that it ended. It was a wonderful show,” said Ms. Erne.
