“Spectacular. The agility of the actors and the dancers, their synchronization, the story, the production, everything is beautiful, and the story they tell is also beautiful,” said Hugo Rosas, an attorney. “I've never seen [a performance] like this before. I thought it was beautiful, very ingenious. It also involves technology that I hadn't seen in any other show and it looked spectacular.”
“[The singer] had an incredible voice, and he also conveyed a sense of elevation and attention. It was excellent,” said Sagrario Ruy Díaz Benumea, a university professor.
“It moved me. I think one of the goals of any cultural expression is to convey an emotion. And what I felt is that I was overwhelmed by the rhythm, the cadence, and the colors. All of those things overwhelmed me from the beginning and kept me attentive throughout the entire show,” said Hugo Rosas.
“It makes me very sad that under the current regime [Shen Yun] is inaccessible,” said Sagrario Ruy Díaz Benumea.
“It reflects not only visual beauty, but also spiritual beauty. It conveys beautiful values like tolerance, and the fight against abuse. That seems very, very important to me. There's always a message against oppression and against abuse. That is beautiful,” said Hugo Rosas.
“Harmony, courage, spectacle, and peace. All of that touched me deeply,” said Sagrario Ruy Díaz Benumea. “An excellent show, which I hope many young people have the opportunity to come to see, as it shows us values.”
