“Incredible, exceptional. A very high level. It’s magnificent. Honestly, I had never seen such a beautiful show before. It’s very different from the traditional performances we usually see here. It’s not the same style at all, and it’s fascinating to experience another culture and discover it,” said Nicolas Fazi, a civil servant.
“I loved the choreography of the women, the Mongolian dances, and the female performers—especially with the effects created by their dresses and sleeves. The scenes are truly, I’m repeating myself, fantastic,” said Gilles Bock, a public finance inspector.
“It’s truly magnificent,” said Michèle Hildwein, a hotel owner. “The artists are incredibly talented. The show tells a complete story, with a clear thread running throughout. Honestly, it was a moment of pure relaxation.”
Mark Schmitt, a former sales director, said: “It’s a tragedy. I think that erasing such a magnificent past is scandalous. But it has been going on for years. It’s a regime I deeply oppose. That’s why it’s so important to preserve these traditions and share them with the world.”
“Above all, it’s the connection between the human and the Divine, for us, God, and also the mystery of redemption, which is presented in a way different from how we Christians see it. Yet you really get the sense that it is the same savior who comes,” said Karl Elsener, a priest.
Mr. Fazi said: “I think it conveys beautiful values, and that it’s important to be kind and to support others. I also think it’s a very, very beautiful message. I think it’s really wonderful.”
Mr. Elsener added, “It awakens something within our civilization, it stirs people and truly allows this peace and joy to grow.”
