Audiences were dazzled by the beauty of the artistry.
“Traveling from the ancient histories and the stories up to modern times and everything in between was pretty fantastic,” said Heath Macie, who is a mortgage underwriter.
“I didn’t expect to see a singing performance that was very well done. I enjoyed the range of vocal quality and also the way that it paired well with the music,” said Paul VanHerpen, who is a senior software engineer.
“Really nice to hear some of the traditional Chinese instruments. And it was also nice to hear some of the familiar sounds that we hear in the orchestras,” said Alycea Anderson, who is a real estate agent.
“I like the little storylines with regards to heaven and earth and how the interchange between the folks in heaven and the folks on earth,” said Jarrett Jarrett-Hanover, who is a former business owner.
“I think it kind of follows a lot of how we feel spiritually, and that’s where we reach to the heavens. And try to deal with our challenges here on Earth and being able to get the help from the heavens.”
Mr. Macie said, “I think the idea of something greater and something larger than us being in play was absolutely fantastic. And it speaks to me on a fundamental level. It was great."
Chris Heiland, a business owner, added, “It’s nice for Westerners to learn more about the history of China and outside of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party)."
