“[The performance] was calming, soothing, and I'm very happy about it,” said Kateřina Vylášková, a company director. “We leave with a beautiful feeling. The jumps, somersaults, spinning, even the colors, the music, and everything around them is very beautifully presented.”
“It's really fantastic how they control their bodies. How they feel every step, and it's really an absolute pleasure to watch that,” said Peter Olah, a car designer.
“[The erhu] was fascinating to me because it's a two-stringed instrument,” said Tomáš Jarošek, a musician and instrument maker. “It can express itself so richly. Mentally it was beautiful to be carried away like that, I don’t even know how to describe it. It was really such emotional music.”
“I think it was extraordinary. It was something truly very special. Not only the technique and all the accuracy and precision, also all the movement, also I think the music. It was very interesting to see this combination of Western classical music with Chinese traditional instruments. It was really very interesting,” said Emmanuel Placier, a business development director.
“I sense a strong connection between Chinese culture, Heaven, and God. And I really like that, this spiritual dimension,” said Šárka Nováková, a business owner. “I like that in Chinese culture, it turns to kindness, goodness, spiritual values and traditions. And to maintain that in the modern world, I think that's a message for each of us today.”
“It's very nice to see that some values are truly universal that apply not only in a specific country, but also apply to all of us,” said Placier.
