“I was amazed at all the different dances there were. There’s a lot, which means there’s a lot of things to learn in terms of the dancers, the performances, all the moves. It’s a lot. So I was really impressed with that. It was also very spiritual, there’s a lot of spirituality in it, which was great,” said Mark Haas, a business owner.
Ahmed Samad, a company director, said, “You don’t have dialogue going on, but the story itself, it expresses a lot of the culture. And the streamlining and the flow of the story is very well demonstrated.”
“It’s just beautiful. I mean, energy from beauty is something special and we need it,” said Kimberly Kyser, a company president.
Sarah Wall, an actuary, said “I would say there’s a good message, tells a good story, and one of the most impressive things is the precision, the talent of the dancers and the musicians.”
“I really enjoyed the athleticism, the beautiful costumes, the way that the storyboard behind the scene related to the actors, the breadth of classical music, the orchestra that was a hybrid between Asian music and Western music is very beautiful,” said Andrew Jones, an attorney.
“The value of being a good person, and I think that’s what Shen Yun is trying to show to us. And my head goes to them for doing that. We should be conveying that there is good in us,” said Danuta Jagla-Schudel, a psychiatrist.
Alex Adams, an environmental scientist, said, “I would just want to express my gratitude and thankfulness for the entertainment value and for the art that they’re bringing to the stage.”
Laura Grover, a former company director, said Shen Yun was “an educational performance with beautiful graphics, amazing graphics, like beautiful dancing costumes, music.”
“It’s a beautiful show. All the performers are so talented with the costumes and the backdrop, it’s very entertaining and educational,” said Mike Wall, a former auditor.
