Through classical Chinese dance and music, Shen Yun Performing Arts brought the beauty of ancient China to life for audiences in Ancona, Italy, on Feb. 3rd. Theatergoers were in awe of the performers’ artistry, with some describing their movements as divine.

“I got very emotional when the female dancers performed. I really liked that, they were truly divine, projecting such femininity and elegance. Their facial expressions genuinely touch your heart, it’s deeply moving,” said Farida Ziricova, a business owner.

“It was very beautiful, really good,” said Fabio Sturani, the former mayor of Ancona. “I didn’t know about China’s entire thousand-year history. The set design was amazing, incorporating three-dimensional images .”

“I was very moved, very impressed, and I found the dancers to be intensely expressive,” said Anna Ortolani, who helps run her family business.

Shen Yun aims to revive China’s 5,000 years of traditional, divinely inspired culture, with eight companies simultaneously touring around the globe. Shen Yun also presents an all-new program every season. Theatergoers applauded the effort behind the performance.

“I’m very happy that they are continuing with this project. We hope to welcome them back next year, because we were truly delighted to see them this year. Thank you,” said Ms. Ortolani.

“It's beautiful in its colors and movements. The artists were outstanding, and the orchestra as well,” said Francesca Zilli, a nutritional biologist. “It's truly beautiful, I recommend it.”

“There is a genuine commitment to beauty and to dance. Congratulations to the performers,” said Mr. Sturani.

Shen Yun will be performing in Dijon, France, from Feb. 9 through 11.
