John Reading, a retired company director, said, “a company of artists of such talent, it's incredible, it's exceptional.”
Jean-Arthur Decroos, a company director, said: “a very high artistic level. The dancers' performance is exceptional, and worth seeing again and again.”
Samuel Rozen, an architecture firm owner, said: “It's an absolutely magnificent show. I admired the colors, the gestures, the energy of the whole show. And the music fits perfectly and is perfectly synchronized with all the performances. And what was extraordinary, beyond all that, was that you managed to make a presentation in the background that worked perfectly, and was totally synchronized with all the gestures and the performance on stage. I'm amazed.”
Guy Trédaniel, founder of Éditions Guy Trédaniel, a publishing house, said: “This evening I attended a magnificent show which delighted me because I learned so much about spirituality. The scenes on meditation were absolutely fantastic. I also learned about Falun Gong. By the way, I'm the editor of [the French version of the book] Falun Gong. I didn't learn [Falun Gong], but I saw a little bit of this show, and I was amazed.”
“Oh, there are several references to the divine, which perhaps explains why it gives this spiritual aspect to the whole performance,” Mr. Reading said.
“The last scene is absolutely fantastic. The divine appears, we're all reconnected. We are delivered from this materialistic society, finally we're delivered from this evil,” Mr. Trédaniel said.
“I would say I felt a connection with the Heavens. I felt floating in the air, like a bird, like the golden peacock that’s presented in the show,” Mr. Rozen said. “We really felt transported into another dimension, transported to another place, being completely somewhere else than in the theatre. We really felt like we were voyaging outside of time. I felt a great deal of kindness, all the more so as we saw the way the actors behaved towards each other, which was truly delicate and refined. And that's something that really shines through in this whole show.”
“So the energy is exceptional, of course. The dancers are very dynamic, very aerial. And that makes for a magnificent show,” Mr. Decroos said.
“This energy made us extremely calm, and in another way, it really filled us with pleasure, and we really enjoyed the extraordinary music and sounds that we're not used to hearing,” Mr. Rozen said.
“Given the violence in which we live, I find this show reassuring and, I'd say, calming. It shows some aspects of a very ancient civilization that can bring us a peaceful society free from violence,” Mr. Rozen said.
“The show brings benevolence, peace, joy. And then hope in what's ahead of us, what's next for us. So we're reassured, we're amazed, reassured,” Mr. Trédaniel said.
“The show brings beauty and goodness. And that's exactly what's missing in today's world, perhaps,” Mr. Reading said.
“I think it makes today's world more generous, more dynamic and more beautiful,” Mr. Decroos said. “I'd advise everyone to come and see this show, which is very beautiful and magnificent and represents China, the ancestral China.”
