“It’s spectacular,” said Connie Rockwell, a retired dance instructor and choreographer.
“I had no idea what to expect, and it’s above and beyond what I thought it would be,” Mrs. Rockwell said.
Jonathan Wright, owner of film company Attn Video, called it a “visual masterpiece.”
Rhett Bailey, a financial advisor at a major financial institution, also watched Shen Yun.
“I have a music background, so I have an appreciation for just the beautiful music,” he said.
Based in New York, Shen Yun’s mission is to revive traditional culture. From legends to modern-day stories of the current persecution happening in China, patrons were moved.
“Not only was it beautiful to watch, but it was beautiful to my heart. I felt the message,” said Holly Wright, a doctor of nursing practice at Ogden Clinic.
Mrs. Rockwell said “I love the faith that they have bringing it forward.
“It surprises me that they’re courageous enough to do what they’re doing and be so proud of it,” she said.
“When I saw it, and I felt what I felt, I can honestly say you cannot feel something like that unless it’s true,” Mr. Garfield said. “The expression of the movie was unbelievable. It was nothing less than perfect.”
