Shen Yun Performing Arts successfully closed the curtain on 2 performances at The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater in Syracuse, New York, on March 11 and 12. Audience members got a glimpse of the beauty of China before communism.

“It was hands down, the best show I’ve ever, ever seen,” said Morgan Striggles, a model and HR director.

“It was mind blowing. And the interaction between all of the different characters, and it was so seamless with the online screen. It was so good I didn’t want it to end,” he said.

“To see the work that they do. Everyone was just on point and just all together, that’s hard, and that was just wow,” said Tamara Nguyen Pulley, a model and talent agency owner.

“I’ve been impressed just by the athleticism and the perfection of the dancers and the commitment and passion they have for their art, and it’s showing on the stage,” said Bob Ash, a business owner.

Traditional Chinese culture and values find their roots in spirituality and the Divine, which Shen Yun showcases through classical dance and music. Audience members took note of a deeper message and praised Shen Yun’s efforts to share it with the world.

“The peace, probably the peace that everybody must live in peace, everybody must be in connection with their souls,” said Oleg Lomov, a claims consultant.

“I got the feeling that the Gods are looking out, the God is looking out after Shen Yun. With what we saw with Buddha and then the Creator was looking out after you. And that’s the message that I received,” said Edward Veaudry, a former respiratory therapist.

“I think they just brought the energy. You have to have something special within you to be able to bring out a performance like that. To bring that kind of a performance to life the way that these individuals did, I think it’s something special within themselves that brought this to life,” said Mr. Striggles.

“The dance was spectacular, the music was wonderful, the musicians are fabulous that play in the orchestra. Everything about the performance was really quite entertaining and quite fun and uplifting,” said Gary LaPoint, a university professor.

Shen Yun will perform at The Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore, Maryland, on March 15 and 16.
