Shen Yun Performing Arts captivated audiences in Montpellier, France, from March 7 through March 9. Theatergoers from the Mediterranean city praised the stunning visuals and the artistry, saying Shen Yun took them on a journey into the rich heritage of traditional Chinese culture.

Delphine Terral, a company manager, said, “I think it’s an amazing performance. You don’t even notice the time passing, and the technology is really advanced. You experience each scene one after the other. It’s truly magical.”

Sylvia Chalmandrier, a former childcare provider, said, “I found the performance absolutely stunning, both in its perfection, the colors of the costumes, and the energy it gave off. It was truly fantastic.”

Alain Chalmandrier, a former dealership manager, said, “I thought it was amazing. It’s really a must-see, something extraordinary. It’s amazing.”

Christopher Woo, an account manager, said, “I’m not really familiar with Chinese culture, and it’s true that I learned a lot about the 5,000 years of history that were portrayed throughout the performance. So it was really, really moving for me.”

“A lot of grace, a lot of color, and thoughtful reflections on the interpretation of each scene,” said Jean Agarrat, a former engineer.

Shen Yun’s mission is to revive 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture from before communism. Theatergoers praised Shen Yun for its exceptional display of dance, live music, and visuals.

“A really beautiful performance. What I loved the most was the immersive screen in the back. It’s incredibly interactive. It’s just amazing. The symphony with the orchestra in the pit adds an extraordinary touch,” said Laurent Crombet, a business owner.

“In every aspect, both the theatrical part and the dance, the staging, the choreography, it’s really something exceptional,” said Eric Malié, a former sales director.

Mr. Woo said, “It’s true that we often have a rather pessimistic image of China, with the dictatorship and everything that happens there. But in the end, [Shen Yun] gives us a different perspective on China, one that’s much more positive and radiates a truly uplifting vibe. And that’s really what’s so enjoyable about this performance.”

Pierre Borel, a former firm owner, said, “Every scene is carefully researched and so thoughtfully designed. We had a great time and really enjoyed the tradition, 5,000 years of Chinese tradition. It really makes you want to experience it.”

Shen Yun is set to take the stage in Lyon, France, from April 6 to April 12.
