“Positive energy, something that lifts you up. By the time of the second act, I already had tears in my eyes,” said Ms. Pietragalla, a business owner. “The beauty of spirituality materialized in the beautiful dance of these people, and that touches the heart. Whatever belief, whatever religion one may have, I appreciated one of the messages, which was something like ‘cherish kindness,’ and I believe that if all human beings do that, what a better world we would have.”
“The values of tradition, of transcending individualism for the community, is something that is transmitted in the dances, in preserving tradition,” said Diógenes Moreira, a company vice president.
“They are spectacular. Besides being talented in their movements, they radiate a peace and a joy that seems to me, is something very valuable and beautiful,” said Eliana Suaya, a psychologist.
“Spectacular. For me [the orchestra] is tuned perfectly. Truly heavenly are the words [to describe them], because it takes you to another place,” said Emilse Coronel Bravo, a university music professor.
“The story is perfect, the way it is told, the movements, the lines seen in the body, all the details are very precise. The truth is that it fascinates me, it moves me a lot because what they are telling is transmitted with the body,” said Rosana Barrios, a yoga school founder.
