Roger Harris, a documentary film director, said: “You have a combination of many different art forms. And there's music, the orchestra are top, top skilled musicians. Then you have the singers, so there's song and instrumentation. Then there's dance and story, the lyrics of the song. So it's a combination of a lot of different art forms flawlessly placed together almost as ingredients to a delicious meal.”
“The energy of the show was spectacular, it was really magnificent. Not just the essence of the old, but the way they blended into the new with all the technology. It was just unbelievable, it was magical,” said John Mirrione, a candidate for New Jersey governor.
“I loved the color, I loved the dance, and most of the things that I loved the most is the way they tell the story,” said Peter Gonzalez, a fashion designer.
Shahrzad Yeganeh, a dentist, said: “It was beautiful, inspirational. How they organized it, the color that they used was beautiful. The story that they brought, it was beautiful without using any words.”
Despina Vasilopoulos, a product development director, said: “I was so impressed. It was as if they were divine on the stage, for sure, absolutely.”
Laurel Parker Chan, a business owner, said, “even without words you can feel the message being put through about doing good, living virtuous.”
John Mirrione said: “It's all about inner development, inner divine, and connecting to everything all that is. And I do believe we live over and over again. I thought it was a beautiful message.”
“I think that's a great mission. Americans don't know very much about Chinese culture, especially pre-communism. Anything that you can show us, we appreciate that,” said Thomas Russo, an attorney.
Paul Fletcher, a marketing director, said, ”that divine beauty, it really was very extraordinary to me and I actually was somewhat touched when I was watching that unfold, it was very powerful.”
