“At that moment, I was in tears. I don't know why, but I felt so shaken,” said Cerca Akane, a defense official. “As the show progresses, the more you understand what it means with the first scene it started with, the first time the curtain came down, and why it is carried out like this. Everything has been thought through; everything has been planned out.”
“The timing of the show was great, as well as the music. There were no lines spoken because everything was so complete,” said Kenichi Yamanaka, a company president.
“They only dance. And just like that, they expressed themselves only through dance. And we were amazed that we could understand what was going on. I think it is the power of the performance.”
“It's so wonderful. The music, the dancing, it was quite impressive the first time I watched it,” said Nakaga Takashi, a company chairman.
“I am amazed at all the things I am learning and I am amazed at what an amazing dance it is. It is composed of many different talents, and those artists must have trained every day,” said Nao Otsuka, a company president.
“[The performance] was very important to me, I resonated with the faith very much,” said Masao Suzuki, a company executive.
“Truth, compassion, and forbearance, that is the message. It is important,” said Kazuhiko Kunitani, a company president. “If everyone could feel this way, then there will be no more conflicts or wars, I think this is an important kind of thinking.”
“I think we should educate people again about human morality and ethics of goodness and beauty, as [the performance] has shown us,” said Shigeki Kainuma, a company president.
“I would like to support [Shen Yun]. I want them to do their best,” said Takashi Takahashi, a company executive. “Originally, ancient China had such history, but nowadays it is difficult to see it. In that sense, I am very happy that I could see it today.
“I will keep the passion of living my life alive. This performance has given me the strength to do my best again tomorrow,” said Yasutoshi Kawashita, the head of a university medical department.
