Shen Yun Performing Arts dazzled audiences in Dijon, France, on Feb. 10, taking them on a journey through ancient China. Audience members were delighted by the heavenly scenes, classical dance, and music.

Francis Durand, a business owner, said, “I think it’s wonderful, it’s really beautiful. The set design, the scenery, and the costumes are all truly amazing. It truly represents Chinese culture.”

Cyril Fillit, a business owner, said, “It’s a colorful, magical show that truly depicts scenes from China. Honestly, it’s great. The music and the orchestra are very sophisticated. We love it.”

“It’s a superb show. With a lot of technical skill, both in terms of photography, animation, and especially the actors. Because it really gets to you. The music is also very beautiful. It’s a very beautiful show. A very, very beautiful show,” said Jean-François Leclercq, a former company COO.

Victor Rodrigues, a Swiss watchmaker, said, “I really enjoyed it. I had never seen this kind of show before. It’s very beautiful. There were beautiful colors everywhere. There were beautiful sets, and the backdrop really enhanced the stage. The dancers are exceptional.”

Shen Yun simultaneously travels the globe with eight different companies and aims to revive 5,000 years of traditional culture from China before communism.

Audience members appreciated the values the performance brought to life on stage.

Natacha Lanaud Lecomte, an academic administrator, said she felt the performance was “about kindness, fairness, and respect.”

“Faced with the modern world, with all these networks, phones, and apps, I think it’s good to occasionally revisit the great philosophers, traditions, and history,” said Hugues Jardin, a former Navy captain.

Mr. Durand said, “I felt that spiritual connection, and the special effects are really well done and transport us into that spiritual universe.”

“It was incredible, it was moving, it was lively, and it was beautiful. The dancers were exceptional,” Ms. Lecomte said.

Shen Yun will be performing in Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom, on Feb. 17 and 18.
