“I've been to The Bolshoi in Russia, and I thought this was better in terms of the athletics and the ability of the dancers. Really amazing, it's fantastic dancing, the skill. And I love your flutist in the front, she's amazing on the orchestra. We were right in the front, so we can see her down in the front and she's dominant,” said Duane Peterson, a businessman.
“We like this story about how the communism came in and destroyed the culture that you had in the past. And it's a beautiful story. It's a very important story that needs to be told,” Peterson said.
“I think we all have the imprint of God on us, and that's a pretty amazing thing. And that's the part of why we appreciate this is seeing the diversity and the value of different cultures and people and histories,” said Jared Emard, a teacher.
Business owner Tammy Roche said the singing of the soprano stole her heart, while the music of the erhu was enchanting.
“It was amazing. I loved it too, it was joyful. There was a lot of emotion and the music and dancing, beautiful, just beautiful,” she said.
“The music was amazing, oh wow, and they were spot on the whole time. The orchestra was very much in sync with the dancers or I should say the dancers were in sync with the orchestra. Beautiful, they did a very good job. Amazing,” said Melody Abarca-Millan, an English teacher.
