Shen Yun Performing Arts captivated audiences in Rome, Italy, on Feb. 2, offering a glimpse into ancient Chinese culture. Among those in the audience was a prince of Strongoli.

“I was impressed with the movements of tissues and colors. Of course, the movements of the arms and the legs is emphasized by this beautiful movement of floating tissues and colors,” said Nando Ferrara Pignatelli, prince of Strongoli.

“It’s incredibly beautiful and instills a sense of serenity. The dancers are so skilled and precise, it often feels like watching one person dance as a unified whole,” said Giulia Scardamaglia, a lawyer.

“I was impressed by the choreography, the costumes, and the skill of the performers in the dances,” said Filippo Tortoriello, an entrepreneur.

“You can see that it is an ensemble moving in perfect unison. Though there are not many dancers on stage, they are one unified body. And it’s beautiful because of that,” said Francesco Passarelli, a biologist.

“I'm happy and content. It brought me a sense of serenity and moments of lightheartedness,” said Simonetta Meo, a business owner.

Since 2006, Shen Yun has been touring the world with a mission to revive 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture from before communism. Audiences praised Shen Yun for bringing these values and virtues to life.

“I believe it's a good message for young people as well, encouraging them to rediscover culture, spirituality, and the importance of connecting with the Divine,” said Maria Serena Patriarca, a journalist.

“A message of peace, of serenity, but above all, it is a hymn to freedom of thought and expression,” said Simonetta Matone, a chamber deputy.

“It’s a very beautiful culture that we don’t know in such depth. The stories and roots are brought to life by the wonderful colors of the women and the dancers, creating something truly beautiful,” said Francesco Barberio, a priest.

“A beautiful message that also speaks to the younger generation and is meant to encourage them to find the path of tradition,” said Valerio Bonolo, a lawyer.

Shen Yun will be performing in Frankfurt, Germany, from Feb. 5 through 9.
