Shen Yun Performing Arts successfully closed the curtain on three performances at the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore, Maryland, on March 15 and 16.

Audience members were delighted with the company’s artistry.

“It’s a combination of spectacular dance, spectacular colors, spectacular background, very impressive, and a bit of education, Chinese culture education,” said Joe Jankowski, who is a business owner.

“The colors of the costumes and the way that they fit the dancers and the way they flow when they’re dancing, it’s just absolutely beautiful,” said Carla Milling, a business owner.

“This was fantastic. I especially admired the discipline of all the performers, and I can understand that this would be just a constant training to have that level of perfection,” said Roger Chandler, a former business owner.

“I think the way that the characters jump from the stage onto the backgrounds and without missing a beat. It’s like the timing is right on time,” said Paul Navarro, a business owner.

“The singing was gorgeous. The soprano especially, I really enjoyed her,” said Jason Auman, who is a music instructor.

Since 2006, Shen Yun has toured the world with a mission to revive 5,000 years of divinely inspired traditional Chinese culture from before communism. Eight companies tour the globe simultaneously, bringing an all-new program every season for audiences to enjoy.

“It’s the historic idea of how China evolved over many, many years, and being also a very, very interesting country, rich of culture. So it was very enlightening to be here tonight,” said Elmar Licharz, a company CFO.

“To see it perform today definitely touches the heart of many people in the audience. It’s very deep and very touching,” said Krista Nazelrod, a business owner.

“It was just breathtaking, really, it was something I would recommend to everyone. It was something I would recommend to all ages. It’s something I just think everyone needs to see,” said Nancy Crue, who is a business owner.

“They should all see this because it’s just so well done. It’s beautiful. It really is. It touches my heart to watch this,” said Peter Shipley, who is a structural designer.

Shen Yun will perform at the Fort Smith Convention Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas, on March 19.
