“The colors and the lighting make it seem like it’s something magical from another world,” said David Velasco, a singer. “[The orchestra] sounded so beautiful, everything was so clear. The instrument arrangements were amazing. The mix of Western and Chinese instruments was very beautiful.”
“A wonderful mix of orchestral sounds and dances, like nothing I’d ever heard or seen before. I think it’s wonderful. That mix and the stories told in each section are something new,” said Ezequiel Torres Rojo, a business owner.
“I’m leaving with a very calm feeling, and very happy to enjoy an incredible show. It was a feast for my eyes, it filled my soul, and I think that’s worth it,” said René Orozco Aceves, a business owner.
“They truly preserved the essence of showing the culture they try to represent with their dances and with their music. Because it has to do with the orchestra, the tenors, and the soprano, so they truly want to preserve that. I believe one of the things that none of the people, none of the cultures, should lose is their traditions, their culture, their essence,” said Mr. Aceves.
“I loved it. The colors, the staging, but above all, the message, the way they encrypted such a beautiful message and made it so popular,” said Mr. Velasco. “Morality, spirituality, how to believe in something, and above all, being a good person.”
“Without losing what is traditional and classical art, I do believe they achieve this theme of taking us to the Divine,” said Monica Sanchez Torres, a director of international affairs.
“It was a completely new and very enriching experience, in terms of how to remember the values we can have, and what we can aspire to improve as people. I think everyone has learned something today,” said Mr. Rojo.
