Shen Yun Performing Arts wrapped up its final performances in Taiwan on Feb. 7–8 in Taichung, Taiwan, totaling 33 sold-out performances across seven cities. Audience members commented on the beauty and artistry of the performance.

Dr. Liao Cheng-xi, a hospital chief physician, said, “It is filled with color and light, and it truly makes me feel that the realm of truth, kindness, and beauty—as well as the realm of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance—is being vividly manifested in real life and right there on the stage.”

“The costumes looked incredibly vibrant and colorful, making people feel refreshed and uplifted. They brought a sense of joy, and I felt that watching the performance made the whole mood feel very relaxed and at ease,” Zhan Yong-liang, a former vice president of the DCSI World Headquarters, said.

Han Kun-hua, a design company technical director, said, “The colors, the dancing, and everything overall, including the animated backdrop, were blended together extremely well.”

“I felt both physically and mentally refreshed, almost as if I had been cleansed. It felt like coming here today was truly a very special and sacred experience,” Zhang Shao-yun, a corporate director, said.

Shen Yun’s mission is to revive 5,000 years of traditional Chinese culture from “China before communism” through classical Chinese dance and music.

“You can really feel that China’s 5,000-year culture is truly a very bright and positive culture. But the China we see today is actually not like that at all. It is completely the opposite. China now promotes atheism, yet people really need faith. It is faith that can fill our lives with light and positivity. I think through Shen Yun, I was able to see that positive force,” Mr. Zhan said.

Huang Chiung-yu, a president of the New Generation Women’s Academy, said, “I thank them for persevering in this mission and for conveying love and justice. They are also passing on traditional Chinese values such as filial piety, ethics, and moral principles, the fundamental values and code of conduct that guide how people should live. All of these are things that must continue to be passed down, and I’m truly grateful to them.”

Shen Yun's performance also exposes the Chinese communist regime’s brutal persecution of faith—one of the reasons the New York-based company cannot perform in China.

“The performance showed what is happening in China today. The fact that Shen Yun has the courage to stand up and confront darkness is something I truly admire and deeply respect,” Mr. Zhan said.

Zhang Qing-song, a chairman of the Taichung Tea Merchants Association, said, “We gained so much from it. Coming to see Shen Yun has truly been an unforgettable experience of a lifetime, and it was absolutely worth it.”

“Next time, I’ll bring friends of all ages so we can all come back and watch it together next year,” Zhang Chong-xian, a general manager said.

Li Qian-hou, a business owner, said, “I think everyone should see it at least once in their lifetime.”

“As Shen Yun marks its 20th anniversary, I hope you will continue bringing even more magnificent performances to audiences around the world in the years to come,” Zhang Zhen-yi Zhang, a chairman of the Taiwan Construction Machinery Association, said.

Shen Yun has now concluded its Asia leg of its 2026 world tour and will return with a brand new production next year.
