Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra performed twice at the Goyang Aram Nuri Concert Hall in South Korea on Sept. 18. The audience praised the Orchestra’s rare performance. Many people in the audience remarked on how Shen Yun delivered a stellar performance that brought out the best of both Eastern and Western music traditions.
Mr. Kim Byeong-hyeon, the CEO of EPROAD said, “I felt the orchestra expended every effort to bring out the beauty of music from both East and West. Every moment of the performance gave me a beautiful impression. I think this is such a great performance that people must come and appreciate at least once.”
Chief Researcher of Gonzone Institute, Lee Tae-ho said, “This is the perfect harmony of Eastern and Western music. [Shen Yun’s] performance touches the soul, and I was deeply moved by it. The music is unique and rare in recent times.”
CEO of Miracle English Institute, Jeon Jong-an said, “I am moved by the music and, at the same time, I feel very excited about it. Firstly, in the geographical sense, the purely Eastern and Western musical traditions have combined to become one. Then, in the temporal sense, the music transcends the boundary between past and present, bridging and surpassing the distance in time. This is deeply moving. From the perspective of humanity, regardless of gender or age, people become one with nature. What a delightful pastime from the heavens, and a soul-moving performance from high above.”
Jeon also lauded the female soprano’s performance.
“The soprano’s voice shook heaven and earth, a powerful voice that swept across open fields and could reach beyond a thousand miles. I was awestruck that a voice such as hers exists in the world, a voice I deeply appreciate. It gave me new inspiration and understanding of the concept of sound,” he said.
After concluding its tour in South Korea, Shen Yun will visit Taiwan with 15 performances in ten major cities.
