“The beauty is breathtaking. The costumes, the agility they have, I know how much time they put into it to be able to achieve this kind of synchronization. The screen in the back is incredible; the synchronization they have when entering the stage or leaving the stage, it’s something that leaves you speechless, honestly,” said Kiki Vázquez, who is a business owner.
“A roller coaster of emotions. It is a beautiful, complete, high caliber show where you are immersed in Chinese culture. Classical Chinese dance is beautiful, very particular, very distinctive. I was fascinated by the colors. It immerses you in the culture in a unique and very playful way,” said Joealis Filippetti, who is an actress.
“I like how they integrate the digital part with the human aspects of the presentation. I like the spiritual background and I like how they present certain things about China that people in general don’t know about and often don’t tell us about, but they present it in a very positive way,” said Celestino Arias, who is a business owner.
“The orchestra is incredible because they are playing music that transports you to the place. If you concentrate on the music and you are watching the images they are projecting and the dances they are doing, you feel as if you are there in China at that moment,” said Roberto Sueiro del Valle, who is the president at the College of Producers.
“Despite adversity there is always hope in the end, and I believe that they carried it like a good story. Well told, good moments, difficult moments, given moments, but everything culminates with hope, which is what everyone and every human being hopes for,” said Eddie Charbonier, who is a politician.
“In the dance you can see the humanism of Chinese culture. In the dance you can appreciate the desire to carry a positive message and teach important values for us to grow as human beings. This is embodied all the time in the pieces that you see,” said Juan José Valentín Merlo, who is a public broadcasting corporation manager.
“Thanks to a show like this, to a group like Shen Yun, we can learn from all those centuries of history that China has,” said Marcos del Valle, who is the president of a newspaper.
