“I’ve never seen Chinese culture like this before, and it was a completely new experience. Seeing that we as humanity are essentially all very similar, yet very different. And that was beautiful,” said Joachim Lang, an entrepreneur.
“The splendor of color behind it, and also the acrobatics and everything else that lies behind the art, the movement and the music, it was absolutely fantastic,” said Gerti Reischl, a human resources head.
“When they jump, they jump so high and so far. There’s so much movement and so much energy. It’s absolutely amazing,” she said.
“[The performance] is unique. The merging with the background images, when people jump in and out, and so on,” said Peter Gek, a paragliding school director.
“I really enjoyed it. Especially seeing how ancient history was portrayed and how the values of ancient China were presented. This truth, compassion, and tolerance, that really impressed me,” said Konrad Hauber, a company technical director. “I found it very interesting and also very brave how the artists portrayed this. They also portrayed the present day, which was partly shown in the stories, and these contrasts between ancient values and today’s values. This is very brave, because in China, such statements are actually not allowed or are forbidden and even persecuted.”
“The traditional values of life, and also respect the environment and togetherness. The focus was often on helping one another and not losing faith that good things will come eventually,” said Michael Weidner, a company managing director.
“It’s very important that culture lives on, and that it continues to be passed on. And I don’t think it harms any system, any political system, if it continues to be passed on,” said Deutmarg Joachim, a sports doctor.
