According to Billboard, Sia has been struggling with her addiction.
“For one reason or another it never happened for me. Then I got seriously addicted to Vicodin and Oxycodone, and I was always a drinker but I didn’t know I was an alcoholic. I was really unhappy being an artist and I was getting sicker and sicker,” she told Billboard in a 2013 cover story for the outlet, opening up about she needed to regroup.
Sia also shared a screenshot of her tweet onto her Instagram account, and it too retained lots of fans’ positive comments and cheering.
One of the fans @jwfanep commented, “awesome.. congrats sincerely from this fan… I have always fear that you would ruin your career as Hollywood can be a toxic environment. Please stay on the right path as your fans love you and need you.”
Another fan @kevintorreslover said, “It’s exciting, keep going Queen, remember that we always support u and we always love u. #WeLoveYouKeepGoing,” by hashtagging one sentence that frequently shows up in Sia’s tweets.
