President Donald Trump said the United States is “decimating” the Iranian regime and said the United States has “virtually unlimited” stockpiles of high-end munitions stored in countries around the world. He said he ordered the strikes because, in his view, Iran would have attacked the United States if he had not acted first.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio echoed that message, warning that the most significant U.S. military actions could still be ahead.
