A little girl born with rarest of rare birth defect, gets new life when her younger sister comes to this world as her savior!

Kylie Monica was born with terrible health problems and some very strange defects, and the doctors were not able to diagnose the disease, and her heart was failing rapidly, she might not survive for long…

Her doctor, Dr. Jeffery Lipton, worked hard and finally was able to identify her condition: she was suffering from Diamond Blackfan Anemia (DBA), an extremely rare condition that only affects about 20 to 50 children in the U.S. and Canada together.

Her parents, Joe and Heather, thought that after the diagnosis she can be cured, but it was not so easy. Monica needed a bone marrow transplant and that too from one of her siblings; sadly none of them was a match.

Monica’s parents were in a quandary, they actually wanted to have more children, but do they have an another baby in the hope that the child will be a match for the transplant?

And under these most incredible circumstances, miraculously the new arrival in to the family, Jordan was a perfect match, and the transplant was a success. Kylie made a miraculous recovery and her transformation was magical.

“If we were going to save our daughter, we needed to have our baby to match her,” says Kylie’s mother, in the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) video below.
