Joining NTD’s Steve Lance are Clare Lopez, a former CIA officer, and Kate Monroe, a former Marine Corps intelligence analyst.

The panel discussed why the United States must keep going for the sake of the Iranian people, and for the safety of the world. The panel said it’s because the pre-existing regime still holds leadership roles at the third and fourth levels.

They also discussed the one crew member who is still on the ground after Iran shot down a U.S. fighter jet—and the measure of success versus the losses in Operation Epic Fury.

The panel added that the U.S. and Israel still have air superiority, despite the downed American F-15 fighter jet.

Lopez said the U.S. owns the night. The panel also discussed the comparisons being made between the war in Iraq and Operation Epic Fury, calling those comparisons unfair.
