America’s Young Feel Insecure Financially as ‘Money Dysmorphia’ Takes Hold: Survey

A recent trend known as “money dysmorphia” has emerged, where individuals feel insecure about their financial status regardless of their actual situation. A study by Credit Karma found that 29 percent of Americans experience this phenomenon, with younger generations being significantly affected. Among Gen Z and millennials, 43 percent and 41 percent, respectively, reported experiencing money dysmorphia, compared to 25 percent of Gen X respondents and 14 percent of those aged 59 or older.
