Jason Palmer, former Democratic presidential candidate and co-founder of TOGETHER!, and former U.S. Rep. Bob McEwen, representing Ohio's Sixth District, joined a panel with NTD's Steve Lance to discuss the coalition of Democrat-led states filing lawsuits against the Trump administration over the suspension of SNAP benefits during the government shutdown.
They also discussed a bill that failed in the Senate on Tuesday that would have paid essential workers through the shutdown, and President Donald Trump holding diplomatic talks and negotiations in Asia, ahead of an anticipated meeting with Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping. In addition, the panel discussed the Federal Communications Commission's tightening of the rules on telecommunications gear made by Chinese companies deemed a national security risk.
