A 12-year-old boy who mows lawns during summer was at the task when a neighbor decided to call the police on him.

Reginald “Reggie” Fields, with his siblings and cousins, were taking care of a customer’s lawn in Maple Heights, Ohio, when they accidentally cut the neighbor’s grass.

“They said I was cutting their grass,” Reggie told News 5. “I didn’t know it!”

Lt. Joe Mocsiran from Maple Heights Police Department confirmed he was called by the neighbor, but no action was taken on the boy, Fox News reported.

“A little kid is out there working hard—heck no,” Mocsiran said.

Reggie’s customer, Lucille Holt, captured a video footage that has since become viral on social media, amassing thousands of views and hundreds of shares. In it, she expressed her disbelief at what happened.

“I guess I have a line where part of it is not my yard. they called the police to tell the police that the kids were cutting their grass,” Holt said in the video, when she learned that the group of children had cut about a foot onto the neighbor’s property.

“Who does that?” she asked. “I’m so angry right now, this is totally ridiculous.”

The initially unfortunate incident turned into something unexpected—there has been a surge in Reggie’s business, according to News 5. People in the area are seeking Reggie and his team to mow their lawn.

“People are inboxing me like, ‘how can I get in touch with these children? Where are they at? I got property I want these kids to cut,’” Holt said.

Now Reggie plans to save money he earns to buy new equipment to grow his business, aptly named “Mr. Reggie’s Lawn Cutting Service.”

“Just give me a call. I will be there. On time!” he said.
