French First Lady, Brigitte Macron, welcomed Melania Trump and other spouses of various heads of states at the Palace of Versailles for lunch on the afternoon of Nov. 11, after over 70 heads of states gathered in Paris for a commemoration ceremony marking the 100th anniversary if the end of the First World War.
Brigitte Macron met them at la "Gallerie Basse" of the Versailles Palace which was the principal royal residence during the French monarchy's reign until the start of the French Revolution in 1789.
Among the spouses to be received at the Palace were Israeli First Lady Sara Netanyahou, Princess Charlene of Monaco, and Gauthier Destenay, husband of Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel.

While the spouses dined at the Palace of Versailles, the heads of state gathered for a lunch at the Elsyee Palace, hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.
Following the lunch, the spouses attended a concert from the Vienne Philharmonic Orchestra and took a tour around the palace including to the iconic Hall of Mirrors.
