A public memorial celebrated the lives of mother/daughter actress duo Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds. The two died within a day of each other three months ago. Fisher was 60 and Reynolds was 84.
Carrie Fisher is best known for playing Leia Organa in the “Star Wars” movies. Including in one of the most recent ones, “The Force Awakens.” Mother Reynolds is best known for her role at the age of 19, acting in hit movie musical “Singin’ in the Rain.”
Fisher suffered a medical emergency aboard a plane shortly before dying. A day later, Reynolds died after saying that she wanted to be with Carrie, according to her son.
