Turkey's Defense Ministry released on Oct. 14 drone footage of what it said were air strikes on Kurdish YPG militant groups.
In a message on its Twitter account, the ministry said it targeted a truck supplying ammunition to the YPG and a tunnel used by Kurdish militants.
According to state media, Syrian army troops entered the town of Tel Tamer in northeastern Syria earlier on Monday.
The move came after Damascus reached an agreement with the Kurdish-led forces in the region to deploy into the area to counter the attack by Turkey.
