Entrepreneurs Start Companies During Pandemic

The Labor Department says 310,000 workers filed for unemployment last week. That’s the lowest weekly number since March of last year. Although another report last week showed American employers adding far fewer jobs than expected last month. The economy is down around 5 million jobs compared to before the pandemic.

With the unemployment situation in America slowly approving, NTD looked at an alternative to getting a job—starting your own business. NTD spoke with Michelle Mak, owner of Mewl Baby Whiteboard, and Lizette Rivera, owner of Roasted Whisk.
