Ja’Ron Smith is a former adviser on crime and urban revitalization under the Trump administration, serving as the deputy director of the Office of American Innovation. He is now a senior fellow at Right on Crime, and launched an initiative called “public safety solutions for America,” which aims to curb crime throughout the country.
