French Minister Warns of Migrant ‘Hot Spots’

Last week an unprecedented incident occurred in which a ship carrying hundreds of people rescued in the Mediterranean was allowed to dock in France. A former minister of the interior has revealed plans by French president Emmanuel Macron to create a “hot spot” to receive and process asylum seekers in the country. He also says the consequences would be terrible for France.
