The company said its booth at the June 25-27 event highlighted its "Technology for Humanity" mission, its Gan Jing Kids platform for children, and the #BeKindBeCool campaign, inviting attendees to record videos promoting kindness.
VidCon is one of the world's largest gatherings for digital creators, bringing together online influencers, technology companies, brands, and fans each year at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Gan Jing World said hundreds of creators visited its booth to learn about new features, including mobile live streaming, expanded monetization options, and ShortsGen, a beta tool designed to convert longer videos into short-form content.
The company also promoted its creator revenue-sharing program, saying it offers creators up to an 80 percent share of revenue, while the industry standard is between 55 and 70 percent.
"I just want them to show love and to be able to care for other people,” Roberts said during an interview with NTD, adding that he notices that many kids today are self-centered and often act rudely.
“I've seen some horrible things that kids have done. I'm just like, ‘Hey, you can be kind and have fun at the same time," Roberts said.
One parent attending VidCon said the trip centered on supporting a child interested in creating online videos.
"My son brought me out. He is a big YouTube fan and has a YouTube channel himself. I thought it would be fun for him," the attendee said, adding that his son has already created content since attending the event.
According to Gan Jing World, the competition awards $10,000 in total prizes, including Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards, as well as school awards. Winning videos are featured on its platform and displayed on a digital billboard in New York City's Times Square during the awards campaign.
Content creator Josh Nasar, who has over 10 million followers, visited the Gan Jing World booth and encouraged viewers to join the platform's kindness campaign.
"Let's spread some kindness around the world today," Nasar said.
Gan Jing World’s booth also gave visitors the opportunity to create kindness videos on site.
Sharin Salameh filmed a kindness video at the booth: “One small act of kindness can change someone’s entire day—hold the door, smile at a stranger, say thank you, help someone without expecting anything in return.”
Nine-year-old creator and author Maxwell, of the 55,000-follower channel Maxwell’s Playroom, said, “I think everybody should just spread love and kindness.”
Gan Jing World said it recently surpassed 100 million unique visitors and continues to expand its creator tools while emphasizing family-friendly content and user privacy.
The platform is guided by its mission, "Technology for Humanity," and promotes kindness, respect, trust, and moral values.
“We prioritize meaningful, non-addictive, family-safe content while protecting user privacy. The platform also offers Gan Jing Kids, the No. 1 safe platform for values-based learning, with age-appropriate, 100% ad-free content across 100+ educational categories aligned with 6 expert-recommended values,” the company states.
