A German content creator known for her travel and outdoor lifestyle posts has died nearly three weeks after a head-on bicycle collision with a former Olympic alpine skier during her honeymoon in northern Italy.

Laura Viktoria Härtig, 30, died on Sunday, July 12, according to Italian outlets Trentino and il Dolomiti. Härtig had built an online following of more than 55,000 on Instagram under the handle "alltimelaura," where she shared content centered on travel and the outdoors.

According to local media, the crash occurred June 23 on a state road near Sella Pass, a mountain pass in northern Italy, when Härtig collided head-on with Peter Runggaldier, a former Olympic skier who competed for Italy in the 1994 and 1998 Winter Games. Runggaldier had been riding a motorcycle. The impact split Härtig's bicycle in two and threw her onto the pavement, leaving her with critical injuries.

Paramedics resuscitated Härtig at the scene before airlifting her to a local hospital. Nineteen days later, she died from her injuries at a hospital in Germany, where her family had relocated her for her final days.

Härtig had traveled to Italy for her honeymoon. Two days before the crash, she posted footage from her wedding on Instagram, captioning it "Soulmate for life. 💫🩵✨ 🪢."

The Trento Prosecutor's Office is investigating the incident.

Runggaldier, 57, broke his silence on the crash in a statement posted to Instagram on July 14. Writing in Italian, he said: "Dear friends, in regard to the serious road accident in which I was involved, I ask you to respect my moment of pain and my need for confidentiality. My thoughts go out to all the people involved and their families. I trust in your sensitivity and please understand that at this time I will not give any interviews or statements."

Härtig's death follows a series of recent deadly accidents involving social media personalities from Brazil.

Brazilian content creator Thaís Moura, 31, died on July 12 after the motorcycle on which she was a passenger crashed in Volta Redonda, Brazil, Brazilian outlet g1 reported. Moura had more than 65,000 Instagram followers and described herself as focused on "beauty, PR packages & partnerships."
Days earlier, Brazilian influencer Kauana Bilhar, 26, died on July 7 after falling from the 27th floor of a residential tower in Dubai, where she had lived for about two years. Her mother, Darla Bilhar, later posted a video on Instagram defending her daughter against online speculation, saying, "I have to watch my daughter's memory being judged, exposed, disrespected by people who didn't know her story. It's easy to be a judge when the pain belongs to someone else."
Additionally, Brazilian creator Anna Clara de Souza Rocha, 27, died on June 21 when her vehicle overturned in Volta Redonda, Rio de Janeiro state. She had amassed more than 32,000 followers on Instagram, where she coached others on building social media audiences.
