Hong Kong Pro-Democracy Media Closes After Police Raid

One of Hong Kong’s last pro-democracy media outlets is shutting down.

The outlet, Stand News, says it has stopped operation and dismissed all staff members after a series of moves from Hong Kong authorities. Police raided the news outlet’s office, froze its over $7 million dollars in assets, and arrested seven staff members.
