Hunter Biden has doubled down against allegations that his father, President Joe Biden, was involved in his foreign business dealings, saying “MAGA Republicans” were “lying” and “trying to dehumanize” him.
His comments came Wednesday in a prepared statement to members of the press as he arrived on Capitol Hill to respond to a subpoena for him to testify in front of a House Committee.
The House is pushing toward a vote Wednesday to formally authorize the impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, with most Republicans rallying behind the process despite lingering concerns among some in the party that the investigation has yet to produce hard evidence of misconduct by the president.
